46.365 I Can't Find You by forever-just-jess 46.365 I Can't Find You by forever-just-jess

I think I might maybe take up the 365 project again. I'll try this week, then we'll see. :)

So this might be one of my most personal pictures ever. There's this one person that I've been really close to for a while. And she promised she would always be there for me, no matter when or what. But she has been pushing me away a lot, which really hurts because now is the time that I really need someone to lean on, and she was the only person I trusted. So...ya...

p.s. I think this is the most time I have ever taken for post-edit. I took like 50 gazillion pictures and couldn't decided which one I liked, so I edited them all, and decide on this after re-editing it like 4 times. haha enjoy! :D

I think that this work has a particularly powerful impact. I would say that a great many of us have lost someone, or had someone just drift away - and to those of us that have gone through such things, this expression of yours is easy to connect to :( 5 - stars

I would give 5 stars on vision because there is no confusion about what it is that you are expressing and, also, this is very well planned and it has turned out as you wanted.

It takes a lot of courage to be truly personal with your work, and then share it with the rest of the world. You put yourself out there fully vulnerable for the whole world to see - and that takes originality. . .

A background full of maps is in complete harmony with the words and compliments and magnifies the feeling of searching. The vertical subject is centred, however, the horizontal is great - and so the overall composition is just fine :D

As I look at this, I feel quite sad. This makes me remember all those that have disappeared from my life. For those that we were truly close to. . . the pain never goes away - but we learn to move on despite the pain. The first time is always the most painful.

I find that a terrible reality in this world is that a person doesn't have to die for it to feel as if they are dead. So be patient with yourself and don't try to minimize the pain.

forgive me for ranting on a critique, but as I said earlier, this work is quite provocative. . . just as you share a piece of yourself with this work, it will provoke others to share a piece of themselves also. . .

... gps system was my first idea to solve the problem ^^

Great execution. Maybe there is something missing in the picture to get perfection but it's near that ^^ ... may a little deep effect ? so no flat wall with all the map's, but staggered (is it the right word ? dont know) wall parts.
